In Dar Al-Shifaa Investment Hospital, we have four specialized units for comprehensive examinations with the latest devices manufactured by the leading German company, (Siemens) in this field, and the latest version. They are (Digital X-Ray Unit, MRI, CT-SCAN, Sonar Unit):

  • Digital X-Ray Unit

The Department of Radiology employs doctors and specialists, and due to their scientific qualifications of precise specialization and well-established knowledge in the field of radiology. So, we guarantee a high service in modern techniques to detect cases of injuries and bone defects such as fractures, arthritis and osteoporosis. In addition, there is staining the urinary tract rays and staining the digestive system of high accuracy.
The hospital eagers to develop the devices, as the hospital has developed the radiology device by Siemens Health, where the device converts x-rays into digital signals for personal imaging, and the device awarded a certification, (No.510) for the FDA for clinical use, on January 2019 from the US Food and Drug Administration FDA.

Device features:

– Bluetooth wireless remote control.
– The system contains an automatic sensor feature and automatically recognizes the shape of the detector and avoids ACSS, as well as reduces unnecessary exposure to radiation.
– Fast and advanced detection features that help in obtaining results quickly and reducing patient waiting times with a backup battery that lasts more than 6 hours.
– The device can take up to 950 photos.

  • Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Unit

The hospital has a MRI device, which is a modern and advanced device to capture images without the use of radiation, through which it is possible to use magnetic fields and radio waves to take pictures from inside the body without any side effects on the patient’s health.
This device is used to diagnose and take images for veins and arteries, nerve changes in the brain. The MRI machine is considered the best type of imaging device in terms of tissues and body fluids and is an indispensable reference before performing surgeries.

  • CT-Scan Unit

In Dar Al-Shifaa Investment Hospital, a mammogram or a computerized tomography (CT) scan can be performed using an advanced technology of Roentgen rays (x-rays) and allows obtaining an image with a high degree of accuracy, in order to examine the internal organs of the body.
After a computerized analysis of the Department s obtained in this examination, we obtain a three-dimensional representation of the object, which can be viewed in several complementary horizontal or vertical Departments. This type of imaging, which is differed from the normal  X-ray imaging room, gives us a two-dimensional image, very similar to the normal imaging film.
This CT is a scanner works in a circular motion, linked to a high-performance computer analyses the hole image. This examination allows us to discover whether any damage has been caused to an organ, or if there is a lesion in an internal organ, and it also enables us to see the precise anatomical structure of the patient’s body, before performing surgeries.

  • Sonar Unit

Dar Al-Shifaa Hospital has sonar devices from the latest ultrasound version manufactured by the German company (Siemens) and designed in an uncomplicated manner with high-resolution results. When the shape meets the result, the result is an intelligent ultrasound system helps in providing high-performance solutions and levels with flexibility of use.

  • Portable X-Ray Machine

Dar Al-Shifaa Hospital is unique in its possession of quality devices, including the portable x-ray machine. Many of us sometimes see the difficulty of moving a person with a fracture, joint injury, or certain trauma, and the difficulty of moving from one place to another inside the hospital, so the hospital has equipped advanced mobile X-ray devices manufactured by (Siemens company) can be moved all-round the place of the injured and diagnose his health condition with high quality with ease of movement and high operator comfort. Imaging with multiple imaging angles of injury and difficult angles to take with fixed-ray devices

Device features:

– A clearly arranged dashboard with only a few required settings for the device.
– High imaging capacity allows for self-calibration of 30kW and 450mA, with exposure times as short as 1ms.
– Remove any blur in the x-ray image if the person is moving during the imaging.
– Provide an image quality comparable to that of most static x-ray systems.
